Christmas Sale/Soup Bowl at the Art Gallery of Burlington

As a member of the Burlington Potters' Guild, I will once again have a couple of tables of pottery for sale in the Lee Chin Gallery at the AGB for the annual Christmas Sale/Soup Bowl event. I will also be part of the Burlington Fibre Arts Guild tables with felted work for sale.

All Guilds at the AGB will have their art for sale at the event, so it's an excellent opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done! There will be pottery (of course!), fibre art, rug hooking, weaving, painting, photography, sculpture and wood carving. Lots to see!

When there, why not take part in the Soup Bowl event? $50 gets you your choice of hand made soup bowl, a choice of artisanal soups, salads, rolls, coffee and dessert. You get to keep the bowl! I am hoping to donate at least 30 bowls to the event this year. The proceeds from Soup Bowl go directly to funding the AGB facility. Tickets for Soup Bowl go on sale around October 1, please go to the www.artgalleryofburlington.com website or call 905.632.7796.

The Christmas Sale is free to the public and the parking will be free for the weekend.

My 15th annual garden show and sale in my backyard and studio! See my art in its natural environment. Pottery and felted work will be on display and for sale. I will also have a seconds table, so come early for great bargains! Rain or shine.

Click here for a map to my location. All are welcome. Bring friends. Enjoy a lovely drive through the countryside.

Art Demonstrations all weekend! Come see how it's made!

With confirmed Guest Artists:

Lou Hanson, pottery
Lou has whimsical garden totems, and gorgeous floral blessing bowls.

Angie Turkulja, the Artful Blingster, creates handcrafted, one-of-a-kind jewellery, with the focus to creating something that is as strikingly unique and versatile as the woman who will wear it.

Carmen Nistor Caldwell creates fabulous upcycled purses and aprons from bluejeans and mens’ suits. They’re practical and super fun!

ALSO NOTE: The same weekend, the Artists in the Country have their spring show, just 4 KM west of us and 4KM east of us, the Escarpment Artists have their spring show. SO within 8 km you can see 30 artists in 3 studios!!

To get the discount, mention you are "on the tour, and would like the tour discount" to your server! So make a day of it, drop in on a bunch of studios, stop for a lovely Cascata lunch, then hit some more studios. And on Sunday, repeat! ;)

$45 gets you your choice of hand made soup bowl, a choice of artisanal soups, salads, rolls, coffee and dessert. You get to keep the bowl! I am hoping to donate at least 40 bowls to the event this year.

Hours:
Thursday & Friday 10am - 9pm;
Saturday & Sunday: 10am - 5pm
